Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how Dezipher ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Dezipher mobile application ("App").
When you use visual search, your uploaded image is sent to a third-party AI service for real-time analysis. The image is processed immediately and is NOT stored on our servers or the AI provider's servers after processing. No image data is retained, sold, or used for training purposes.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your data.
When you tap a product link in the App, you are redirected to a third-party retailer's website. The link contains an affiliate identifier (e.g., an Amazon Associates tag) so the retailer can attribute the referral to Dezipher. Dezipher does not receive any personal information about your purchase — only that a referral occurred. The retailer's own privacy policy governs any data collected during your visit to their site. Dezipher does not place tracking cookies on your device.
We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not share your personal information with any brand, manufacturer, or trademark holder. Brand names referenced in the App are used solely for product identification and comparison. No data about your browsing habits, saved items, or searches is shared with any brand owner.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), cryptographic password hashing, secure session management, and encrypted credential storage on your device. While no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we strive to protect your personal information.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (saved looks, preferences, search history) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect; request deletion of your data; opt out of any sale of personal data (we do not sell data); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
The App is currently intended for users in the United States. If you access the App from outside the US, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@dezipher.app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
